Projects: Design and produce Detroit Surgeons, 300 Years, a 290 page book for Wayne State University. Working closely with the author, Dr. Larry Stephenson, the project encompassed three parts: hard cover with dusk jacket, Volume II appendix with binder and DVD version. All pieces were composed in Adobe InDesign.
What I Saw on Mackinac is a children's counting book written and illustrated by Jennifer Margaret Powell. The project involved scanning artwork, adjusting images in Photoshop, laying out the pages in InDesign and preparing files to send to China for printing.
Clients: Grosse pointe youth nautical education foundation
Projects: Design and produce a program book in magazine format for the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club’s United States Optimist Dinghy Association Nationals championship, which drew sailors from all over the world. The publication has articles on a former GPYC Olympian who was guest speaker at the event, history of the Grosse Pointes, USODA and Detroit River Regatta Association. Working with writers and photographers the project was completed within four weeks. Adobe InDesign was used to create the finished product.
