Jim is a graduate of Western Michigan University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a major in graphic design and a minor in photography. With 35 years of experience in the graphic design business, Jim was senior creative director at McNamara Studios in Detroit before opening his own design firm James Dorian Associates. His work has won many awards in the communication design and creative fields including golden and silver CADDY Awards from the Creative Advertising Club of Detroit as well as ADDY awards for excellence in advertising. Clients served include: SEV Corporation, (Marchal and Cibie lighting), Buick Motor Division (dealers), Valeo Automotive, Sachs Automotive, Detroit Elevator, Corrosion Consultants.

At dStudio74 Jim is responsible for the planning and management of design projects as well as primary client contact.

Cynthia earned her BFA from Wayne State University and a Masters of Fine Art in Interdisciplinary Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Cynthia began her career in communication design as an art director at the J. Walter Thompson Company (advertising) before joining the Gale Group publishing company as senior art director. Clients served included Ford Motor Company.

Now managing partner/creative director of dStudio74, Cynthia is responsible for the design and production of print, web and interactive designs for the firm. dStudio74 clients include: Grosse Pointe Yacht Club, Mayea Boat Works, Detroit River Regatta Association, Ray Laethem Motor Village, Eitel Dahm Motor Group, Silver Anti-bac, Valente Trobec and Chandler, Grosse Pointe Youth Nautical Education Foundation.
Cynthia is also adjunct instructor at Macomb Community College teaching graphic design.
